What is Embodiment?
im-ˈbä-dē-mənt : a tangible or visible form of an idea, quality, or feeling.

"When we speak of privilege, where does this live in our bodies? How does the experience of oppression imprint on our bodies? When we imagine justice and liberation, what will that feel like in our bodies? In our collective body? When we can approach change from the fullness of who we are by inviting the felt sense and lived experience of the body, our activism is made whole."
"Erin Law is a somatic movement educator, politicized healer, and multidisciplinary artist based in the southern US." Erin joins Becka Eppley and Tommy Allgood for a conversation on Somatics and how it truly walks hand in hand with racial justice.

"The Activist Theology Project is a collaborative team passionate about our commitment to the ethics and politics of en conjunto (togetherness). We are public theologians, justice advocates, and strategy-minded people situated in the hybrid space of church, social change, and the academy. We are a multiplicity of humans who have engaged one another to bridge radical differences.
This commitment to bridge compels the team to curate the three pillars of the Activist Theology Project, which are convening people curating a liberative relationality, creative digital engagement helping connect the dots and motivating thought into action, and companioning, a process that serves as the deep intentional practice of being with one another on this journey helping to build a movement committed to collective liberation and a more loving world."
